On January 21, 2014 at approximately 3:05 P.M. Meridian Township Police and Fire Departments responded to the smell of smoke in an apartment building in the Castle Pointe complex (Lake Lansing/Birch Row area). The investigation showed that this was an intentional act of arson. A delayed incendiary device was found at the scene.
