The recent snow emergency and related loss of power was a reminder for
many of us to be prepared. Luckily Meridian Township had some warming
centers, and friends and neighbors pitched in and helped. In our after
action debrief we thought of ways we could better help prepare our community
for any such future events. One of the ways we came up with to help
prepare is a program called Do 1 Thing. This program will help you and
your family take small steps towards being better prepared in case of any
emergencies in the future. We encourage you to take a look at their
recommendations on how to prepare so that you can keep yourself and your loved
ones safe.
