Noise ordinance changes, and new cell-phone restrictions.

The Township Board heard complaints from residents recently about noise complaints, in particular barking dogs and loud off road vehicles.  The board will vote on some proposed changes to the language of the ordinance that will now include "inside a residence."  This change will be voted on at the next board meeting.

Another new piece of legislation that may affect you is a bill that has been named Kelsey's Law.  This would make it a civil infraction for a person driving on a graduated level 1 or 2 license to talk on their cell-phone while driving.
