Recovered Stolen Property

On Monday, May 2, 2011, at 2:58 p.m., Meridian Township Police responded to Bank of America, 2731 East Grand River Avenue, reference subjects attempting to cash a stolen check with another person's driver's license. A bank employee was able to provide a vehicle description and the vehicle was located and a traffic stop initiated.

The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested for identity theft and related
fraudulent activity. The subjects are lodged at the Ingham County Jail awaiting
