WHERE: Glendale Cemetery, off Mt. Hope Road in Okemos
There will be pre-ceremony bagpipes, a color guard with drum cadence, an assortment of music from the Meridian Community Band, a Pledge of Allegiance led by a volunteer from our local American Legion Post 269, an introduction by Meridian Township Clerk Brett Dreyfus, special guest speakers who will share their thoughts on the meaning of Memorial Day, a selection of hymns from the various branches of our military, and a benediction by a local religious leader.
