Parking enforcement volunteer needed.
Meridian Township Police Department is looking for citizen volunteers to assist in enforcement of parking ordinances. The Volunteer Parking Program started in 2001 and has been highly successful in providing a community service to the Township at minimal cost. Anyone 18 years of age or older may participate and is asked to make a commitment of at least one year and volunteer a minimum of four hours per week. Volunteers must possess a valid operator’s license. Along with a completed application, a background investigation is conducted on all potential volunteers.
