On Sunday, January 13, 2013, at
9:34 p.m., Meridian Township Police responded to a report of an armed robbery
at Lou & Harry’s located at 4749 Central Park . Officers were advised that a male subject
confronted employee’s as they were exiting the store, displayed a handgun, and
demanded money from the staff. The
suspect fled the scene on foot and was apprehended by responding officers. The suspect is in custody pending
charges.
On January 14, 2013 the suspect,
Thomas Sime was arraigned before the 55th District Court on an Armed
Robbery charge.
