Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle



On November 13, 2012, at 11:19 p.m., Meridian Township Police responded to a crash near the intersection of Grand River Ave. and Marsh Road.  A pedestrian was crossing the road when he was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Grand River Ave.  The pedestrian, a twenty-seven year old resident of Okemos, was transported to Sparrow Hospital.  The driver of the vehicle, a forty-four year old resident of Williamston, was not injured.  Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.  The crash remains under investigation.
