Beware this scam!


The Lansing Police Department warned the public yesterday about three men who are allegedly targeting the elderly. The suspects have now victimized or attempted to victimize three couples in Meridian Township. 
The suspects told the victims they were with a concrete company and wanted to do some work on their driveways. The suspects distracted the victims and tried to enter their home.  On one occasion they were able to steal money from a victim’s purse.
The three are described as follows: a white or Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years-old, 5'7" and clean cut; white or Hispanic male, 20years-old, heavier set, long hair, wearing a dark shirt with pock marks on his face; and a white or Hispanic male, 20-years-old, thinner and wearing a white shirt.
On each occasion they went to a house they were driving different vehicles; they were described as driving a gray mini van, a gray pick-up, as well as a black pick-up.
