Felonious Assault press release

 On February 16, 2012, at approximately 1:55 a.m., Meridian Township Police officers responded to a report of a person being struck with a baseball bat in the 4900 block of Dawn Avenue. It was determined that three individuals were in an argument. The argument ended in a physical altercation. During the altercation, the two suspects retrieved baseball bats from their car and assaulted the victim. The victim fought back and was not seriously injured. One suspect was arrested and lodged at the Ingham County Jail. A second suspect was transported to the hospital by the Meridian Township Fire Department for treatment.
