Single-Vehicle Accident in Williamstown Township


On Friday, October 14, 2011, at 4:41 a.m., Meridian Township Police responded to a single-vehicle accident in Williamstown Township.  The vehicle was traveling south on Zimmer Road, near Germany Road, when it left the roadway and hit a tree.  The male driver, a 17-year-old Wheatfield Township resident, was extricated from the vehicle by Ingham County Heavy Rescue and treated by N.I.E.S.A. Ambulance Service.  He was transported to Sparrow Hospital by helicopter.
