Along with the customary display of front porch lights we encourage neighborhoods to come together and have a block party, cookout, ice cream social or other neighborhood event.
National Night Out is an effective, inexpensive way to encourage community spirit and police-community relationships. The benefits that your neighborhood will derive from this event last for more than one night! Meridian Township Police will be out at the neighborhood events tonight, take this opportunity to meet the officer that is assigned to your neighborhood.
