Armed Robbery suspect arraigned

On Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 9:02 p.m., Meridian Township Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood near Subway, 2160 W. Grand River Avenue.  Officers found two men and the vehicle in the Subway parking lot.  During the investigation, officers arrested Michael Jaquan Tucker, a 21-year-old resident of Okemos, for the armed robbery of the Speedway, 1659 W. Grand River Avenue, which occurred on August 14, 2011, at 3:40 a.m.  The Dewitt Township Police Department assisted in this investigation.

On Friday, August 26, 2011, Tucker was arraigned at the 55^th District Court.  Tucker was charged with Armed Robbery.  Bond was set at $200,000. A preliminary exam is set for September 8, 2011.
