Do You Know These Men?

Do either of these men look familiar?  They are suspects in multiple credit card fraud incidents.  They have cloned someones credit card and are piling on charges at local retailers.

Help us identify another thief

On May 8th at 8 pm a female went into a local business and used a stolen credit card to make purchases.  We need your help in identifying this thief.

Cologne Bandit

UPDATE:  This person has been identified.  Thank you for all  the information.




This man is suspected of stealing large quantities of high end cologne from local retailers.  Do you know him.  He has numerous tattoos on his arms, including a cross on his left arm that can be seen in the image below.  He  also seems to be missing his upper teeth.

Vendor list


Vending:  Meridian Township issues a license to a person or business for vending and an identification tag to each seller representing the business.  Each seller must wear the identification tag in a manner that may easily be seen.

Canvassing/Soliciting:  Meridian Township does not issue a license or ID tags to persons or nonprofit organizations that are not required by ordinance to obtain a vendor’s license.  However, such persons or organizations are required by the Township’s vendor ordinance (Chapter 64) to “make a license application for purposes of information only.”  I will include on the list the names of persons or organizations that do not have to obtain a vendor’s license but have made the required application.

Can You Identify Them?

Do either of these two look familiar to you?  They are suspected of stealing over $200 worth of alcohol from a local business. An image of their vehicle is also shown.

We need your help!

On June 12, 2015 at approximately 8:30 pm three black males went into a local business in the Meridian Mall and stole men's clothing items.  They ran out of the store and got into a blue SUV and left to the west out of the parking lot.  All three of the suspects appear to be teenagers.  A fourth person may have been waiting in the parking lot in the vehicle.

Vendor ordinance changed

The Meridian Township Board approved amendments to the Meridian Township Vendor Ordinance on Tuesday, May 19th.

Vendors will now only be allowed to go door-to-door from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, April 1st through October 31st and from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, November 1st through March 31st. The changes also prohibit vendors from advertising their goods or services in a way that disturbs the peace.

Amendment to Section 38-121 of Article IV Vendors, Division 1, Generally. Section 38-121 entitled Conduct defined as vending of the Code of the Charter Township of Meridian, Ingham County, Michigan, is hereby amended to read as follows:
       
         (1) The act of offering goods and/or services for sale from a fixed place not within a building or from a fixed place in a temporary structure or shelter, not including merchants offering goods and /or services for sale upon commercial premises permanently occupied by them.
         (2) The act of offering goods and/or services for immediate sale, or for sale by sample, description, or otherwise for delivery at a future time, by going from door to door, or passing from house to house or for resale to manufacturers for use in their processes; also not including regular route delivery persons delivering goods and/or services.
