On February 15, 2017, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Meridian Township
Police responded to the Brookfield Shell Gas Station located at 1831 Grand
River Avenue in East Lansing for a report of an armed robbery. The suspect fled in a stolen vehicle, which
was located by Michigan State University Police on East Michigan Avenue where
they attempted to stop the suspect. The
suspect fled into Lansing and was apprehended in the 800 block of Prospect
Street after a short vehicle pursuit. The
Department was assisted by Michigan State University Police, East Lansing
Police Department and Lansing Police Department.
The suspect’s identity is being withheld pending arraignment.
