Code Red notification system.
If you haven't signed up for the Code Red notification system, you may want to. Code Red is an Emergency Notification System, which allows government entities to contact citizens in the event of an emergency in their area. The system has several different methods of contacting citizens including traditional residential landlines, business lines, voice pagers, VoIP or digital "cable" phones, and cell phones.
CodeRED® updates the System several times a year using multiple national phone listing databases and current 911 Center data. If your phone number is unlisted, you have recently moved, or if you only have a cellular phone, they may not have your information. Even if you have a listed home phone number, you should still register. To add your contact information to the CodeRED® system, go to https://public.coderedweb.com/cne/en-US/BFB7CC4C6C0A .
