Two Vehicle Accident at Sherwood and Zimmer

On Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 2:25pm Meridian Township Police responded to the intersection of Sherwood and Zimmer Roads in Williamstown Township on a report of a two vehicle accident.

A vehicle traveling southbound on Zimmer failed to stop at the stop sign at Sherwood Road and was struck by a truck with a car hauler traveling west bound on Sherwood Road.  One of the drivers was transported to a local hospital with injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
