Bank Robbery Update

On May 24, 2013 the Independent Bank located in Williamstown Township was robbed at gunpoint.  Meridian Township Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the complaint.  On May 31, 2013 the Farmers State Bank in the Village of Stockbridge was robbed.  A joint investigation involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Meridian Township Police, Stockbridge Police, Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, and Michigan State Police determined that both armed robberies were committed by the same individual.

As a result of the joint effort of these agencies three Lansing residents were arrested on various felony charges.  All three subjects have been arraigned and are currently detained in Ingham County Jail awaiting trial.  These subjects were Todd Bradley White, Andrea Hath, and Jessica Felix.  A fourth suspect has now been arrested in connection with these bank robberies.

On June 26, 2013, Roderigious Antony Williams, age 41 of Lansing, was taken into custody by the Michigan State Police fugitive team in Lansing.  On June 27, 2013 Williams was arraigned at the 55th District Court in Mason on two counts of armed robbery.  Bond was set at $150,000 cash or surety.  Williams’ next court appearance is a pretrial scheduled on July 9, 2013.
